A Search Firm is Only as Good as it's Consultants
Too often I hear from clients: "we are seeking a business partner we can trust, someone who takes the time to understand our business and sincerely want to support us".
Selecting a good search firm has nothing to do with fancy presentations, number of years in business, and to some extent past performance. The recruiting business is incestuous, consultants move frequently due to management conflict. To me this is a very strange phenomenon, surely companies who claim to be HR specialists could manage their own talent, unfortunately this is not the case.

One of the first things I learned in business is to trear your employeees as you would your most important clients. I think it goes without saying, that professionals will only treat their clients with the same value system under which they are currently employed.
